Leah Callao
Practicum Psychotherapist
If you’re navigating anxiety, relationship stress, cultural identity challenges, or the weight of intergenerational expectations — you don’t have to figure it out alone. Leah offers a warm, non-judgmental space where adolescents and adults can explore the layered realities of their inner worlds and relationships.
With a background as a certified music therapist and over five years of experience supporting emotional healing through creative expression, Leah brings deep empathy and presence to her work. She understands how mental health concerns are often held quietly — especially within family systems and cultural communities where stigma can make reaching out feel especially difficult. Leah is passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves, make sense of their experiences, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and grounded.
Leah integrates a humanistic, person-centered approach with evidence-informed modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. She also offers music-therapy-informed counselling for clients who find comfort, expression, or regulation through music.
Her approach is collaborative and culturally responsive, always tailored to the client’s unique story and goals. Whether you’re looking to strengthen relationships, manage anxiety, process family dynamics, or reconnect with your own voice — Leah offers steady support for your next step.
