01 · Therapy for Athabasca

Support close to home, without the drive.

Athabasca is a small town with a university, a river and a lot of open country around it. For many here, the nearest specialist is in Edmonton, and that’s a long day for a single appointment.

Online therapy brings experienced clinicians to you. You can meet from home, from a quiet room at work or from the farm, as long as you have a private spot and a reliable connection.

  • Families in town and across Athabasca County
  • Staff and students connected to Athabasca University

03 · Your choice of therapist

Choose a therapist close to home or one with some distance

Some clients want a therapist who knows their community. Others feel more at ease with a little distance. Both are good reasons, and the choice is always yours.

I

Someone who knows Athabasca

Tasha lives in Athabasca and understands the community from the inside, so you won’t need to explain what life here is like.

II

A little more distance

Prefer someone outside your community? Choose a member of our team at our Calgary office, where Core Psychology began. There’s less chance of crossing paths in town, and many clients find that added privacy makes it easier to open up.

III

The same care either way

Every session is online and private, from wherever you feel most comfortable. Not sure which fits? Tell us what matters most to you and we’ll help you choose.
